The Redeemed Christian Church of God was founded by Pa Josiah Akindayomi who came from Ondo State in the western part of Nigeria. The mission of RCCG is to propagate the message of the Christian Scriptures around the world and to proclaim the salvation found in Christ. As a church, it seeks to convert lost souls and reconcile them with their Creator by instilling in them a sense of prophecy. By reminding mankind of their obligation to honor the Word and Power of God, RCCG wishes to guide people with the aid of the Holy Spirit.
Our Vision.
Our vision is to make heaven and lead as many people as possible to join us on this journey. We aim to have a member of RCCG in every family across all nations. To achieve this, we embrace holiness as our lifestyle and are committed to planting churches within a five-minute walking distance in cities and towns of developing countries, and within a five-minute driving distance in cities and towns of developed countries.
Our Purpose.
We seek the pursuit of God, desiring His presence and seeking to know Him more through private and public worship, the Word, and prayer (Psalm 42:1-2). We value Christlikeness, striving to reflect the character of Christ in our daily lives. We value godly family life, where parents live as examples and cultivate an environment that fosters the spiritual, emotional, and social growth of their children (Proverbs 22:6)
